Southern Region Public Hunting Lands

ALERT: Due to closures as a result of COVID-19, we are not using the reservation system for spring turkey season. Hunters should call the Myrtle Grove WMA office at (301-743-5161) to get a recorded message with site specific information and updates as the situation changes.

PLEASE NOTE: Newtowne Neck State Park and Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm CWMA will not be open to spring turkey hunting at all this season due to COVID-19 closures.

The Southern Region includes Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Prince George's and St. Mary's counties.

Note: Cooperative Wildlife Management Areas, or CWMA’s, are properties where the department does not own the land, but has an agreement with the landowner to manage the public access. Access may be restricted to certain times of the year so you should contact the appropriate department office to learn more about a CWMA you intend to visit.
