As we look back over the past decades, we ask ourselves - are Maryland waters getting better or worse? Are we holding the line in protecting our waterways? Are restoration efforts working? Should we be optimistic looking into the future? The theme of the 2019 MWMC conference is The 25th Annual MWMC Conference – Where We’ve Been, Where We’re Going. Concurrent sessions will include Climate Resiliency, Invasive Species, Remote Sensing and the Bay, Stream Restoration Monitoring, Chesapeake Bay Submerged Aquatic Vegetation, Fish Disease, Working with Big Data, Harmful Algal Blooms, Trends in Stream Health and more!
The morning plenary session will feature a presentation by former Chesapeake Bay Program Director Nick DiPasquale. So come join your friends and colleagues in celebrating a quarter century of the MWMC!
