UPDATE: Commercial Blue Crab Harvesters - Starting 9/14/23 Lugs should be reported by the Pound
Emergency regulations were recently passed to allow all commercial hard crab harvest to be held in lugs starting on September 14. If you use lugs during your harvest activity,
you are required to report your harvest by the pound (on both paper reports and with electronic reporting).

Commercial Harvest Reporting Late List
Starting with the 2025 license year the department's Fishing and Boating Services will once again be posting a monthly late list of commercial harvest reports. This is similar to what was done prior to 2020, so watch this space for more details.

If you haven't received your 2022 crab reporting packet and don't use FACTS to report, please send an email to
fisheriesharvestreport.dnr@maryland.gov with your name, license number and current address. Someone will reach out to you shortly to verify your information in our records and we will get a packet out to you as soon as possible.
