Programs
- Envirothon - learn about Maryland’s natural resources and compete in local and state competitions (grades 9-12)
- Fishing Programs - participate in free half-day programs and equipment loaner programs for youth and community groups (ages 8-15)
- Hunter Safety - learn safe hunting practices (all ages)
- Hunting and Shooting Sports Outreach Program - participate in free hunting 101 workshops (all ages)
- Junior Ranger - explore State Parks’ natural and historical areas, learn stewardship, and explore recreational opportunities (ages 7-14)
- Maryland Conservation Corps - engages young adults in extensive natural resource management and park conservation projects (ages 17-25)
- National Archery in the Schools (NASP) - participate in archery competitions (grades 4-12)
Natural Resources Career Camp - learn about working in the field of natural resources, educational requirements, employment and career opportunities in forestry, water resources, and other related disciplines (grades 9-12)
- ParkQuest - engage in family-friendly activities throughout the summer at Maryland State Parks (all ages)
- Teen Leadership Paddle - participate in a week long canoeing expedition to practice leadership and teamwork skills (grades 9-12)
- Youth Fishing Club - participate in youth fishing event and share catches (ages 5-15)
- Youth Hunting Programs - learn about hunting, trapping and its important role in Maryland’s wildlife conservation (ages 8-16)
