Reenactor Information

Reenactors and living historians help Fort Frederick tell its story in a way books or static exhibits cannot. We appreciate the effort that this community puts into their roles as civilians, soldiers, rangers or warriors. The links on this page will help participants better tell the story of life in Western Maryland in 1750s.

All Fort Frederick State Park sponsored events are by invitation only, and are governed by the Maryland Park Service Standards for Historic Weapons Use, and the Park’s Authenticity standards.
