Quest information

In the Bill Burton Fishing Pier park quest, you will play a game of bird-themed bingo, looking for and learning about the many species of birds in the area as well as the plants, mammals, and other features of the park. Try to get five in a row, and if you are particularly eagle-eyed you may be able to get bingo multiple times! Print off your Bingo Card ahead of time or pick one up at the park when you arrive.

  • Hours: The quest may be completed at any time the park is open.
  • The quest begins on the Talbot side of the park, and includes the mile-long hiking trail and the piers. The amount of time spent on the quest is variable due to conditions but may take 15 to 45 minutes.
  • The piers are wheelchair and stroller accessible, but the hiking trail is not. Leashed pets are allowed.

The Dorchester and Talbot fishing piers are open from 7 a.m. - sunset. The piers are quite popular because of the variety of fish that can be caught including perch, striped bass, croakers, sea trout, and catfish.
