Get Hooked: A Fishing Quest"

Janes Island State Park is pleased to present the “Get Hooked: A Fishing Quest”! There are two parts to the Quest. First, you’ll need to complete the crossword puzzle to create your own fish identification guide. Then gather up your team, your fishing gear and try your hand at fishing (or maybe even crabbing) at Janes Island! Good luck! Take a picture with your catch and share it on social media with @MDStateParks and #ParkQuest2020. Currently, it is BYO (Bring Your Own) fishing gear and bait. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we unfortunately are not offering any loaner equipment at this time. We do hope to continue our loaner program in the future. Call the Park for more information about the fishing equipment loaner program.

Quest Instructions:

Quest is available during normal day-use operating hours

Questers will print out their own worksheet to complete before traveling to the park to complete.

Try your hand at fishing, catch a fish & take a picture with your catch. If you’d like, share your catch with the Maryland Park Service on our Social Media outlets (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram)
