FishMaryland Master Anglers

FishMaryland is Maryland’s recreational fishing award program, and has been running since January 2019.  This is a fun way to explore year-round recreational fishing and enjoy Maryland’s affordable, accessible, diverse and high quality fishing opportunities.

Recreational fishing offers opportunities for families and friends to spend quality time together while enjoying the abundant natural resources Maryland has to offer in both saltwater and freshwater. The FishMaryland Program includes any of more than 60 eligible species in five categories (Atlantic Coast, Chesapeake Bay, Nontidal, Catch and Release and Invasive).

The Master Angler Award is the highest of the three Milestone Awards in the FishMaryland Program (Angler Award, Expert Angler Award, and Master Angler Award).
