Draft Comprehensive Update
The Commission is updating the Critical Area regulations located in the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR), Title 27. The purpose of this proposal includes:
- Repealing outdated provisions or definitions that are not used in the text (the original provisions were enacted in 1986).
- Performing stylistic changes (bring text up to current Division of State Documents standards).
- Adding new definitions.
- Clarifying or making corrective changes.
