Bat Conservation International (BCI)
Bat Conservation International (BCI), based in Austin, Texas, is devoted to conservation, education, and research initiatives involving bats and the ecosystems they serve. It was founded in 1982, as scientists around the world became concerned that bats essential to the balance of nature and human economies were in alarming decline. The mission of Bat Conservation International is to protect and restore bats and their habitats worldwide.

Bat World Sanctuary
Bat World Sanctuary was founded in 1994. Their mission includes serving as refuge for non-releasable bats, including those that are orphaned, injured, confiscated from the illegal pet trade and retired from zoos and research facilities. Thousands of wild bats are also rescued and rehabilitated through Bat World Sanctuaries every year. Up to 80% of these bats are returned to the wild again.

The Organization for Bat Conservation
The Organization for Bat Conservation is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to preserve bats and their habitats through education, collaboration, and research. They also work with local health departments and government agencies to aid in public health issues associated with bats, and have trained field biologists to research endangered bats.
