Deer Salvage Permits

A deer cooperator permit issued by the Service allows the permittee to conduct deer carcass removal and handling operations on private land. The fee for this permit is $100. A permit expires 1 year from the date it is issued.​ The applicant for this permit is required to provide the Department with the method the applicant will use to dispose of a deer carcass at the time the applicant applies for the permit.
