Junior Hunter and Family Outdoor Field Days

These events are FREE and open to youth and their families, depending on the event. Under the guidance of wildlife professionals, these events provide safe, enjoyable, hands-on opportunities to learn about hunting and trapping and their important role in Maryland’s wildlife conservation, as well as giving participants the chance to try their hand at archery, handling shotguns, casting a fishing line and more. Activities offered will vary by location and event, but all equipment will be provided for activities offered. Pre-registration is typically required and additional information will be provided as part of the registration process.
