​Weddings

The park allows weddings and special events on the trail and surrounding areas. Permits are not required, but guests are asked to contact the park to ensure availability. Please e-mail the Lead Park Ranger (Eric.Savage@maryland.gov ) with your event date, time, and approximate amount of guests.

• All wedding party/guests must pay the standard Day Use service charges. The Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, as well as weekends in May, September and October $3/person for Maryland residents, $5/person for out-of-state residents. All other times $3/car for Maryland residents, $5/car for out-of-state residents.
• Other visitors may be in the area during the event.
• There is a shelter that can be reserved if needed. Reservations can be done online (https://parkreservations.maryland.gov/) or by calling 1-888-432-2267.
