Gambrill State Park hosts a few special events annually. In addition to these events, short programming is offered on holiday weekends and as staffing allows.

National Public Lands Day - September 27, 2020 

Gambrill State Park

Save the date! Celebrate National Public Lands Day at Gambrill State Park with a work project to better the natural, cultural, historical or recreational resources the park has to offer. Work projects have yet to be determined, but may include trail work, various forms of park beautification, planting native species, litter pick up or invasive species removal. Show us how much you love your public lands by pitching in a hand!

Tea Room Open Houses - 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on the following dates

**Tea Room Open House is now operating by appointment. If you wish to attend the Open House, call the park office at 301-293-4170. Half hour time slots will be established from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Groups attending Open House can not exceed 5 people. Masks must be worn at all times.

Whether you have ever just wanted to ‘peek’ inside or take a tour before your special event, you are invited to attend the Tea Room open houses! Additional information and a staff member will be readily available to answer any of your questions. The Tea Room was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s and has remained one of Frederick’s most popular venues.
