Swimming is allowed in three designated areas of Hunting Creek Lake, between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Swimming is permitted at your own risk when lifeguards are not on duty. Due to staffing shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, lifeguards will not be on a regular schedule and visitors need to plan accordingly.
Pets are not permitted on sandy beaches or in the lake during this time period.
Lifeguards are on duty every day between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., the weekend before Memorial Day to Labor Day. Please note there is limited coverage on Mondays.
For your safety and the protection of the natural resource swimming is not allowed at the falls.
Please remember to arrive early as the park often reaches capacity by mid to late morning on weekends and holidays. If the park reaches capacity, visitors will be turned away.
