Picnicking

Picnic tables and grills are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. They can be found at the Fred Eskew Recreation Area.

Pavilions

Each pavilion includes electricity, picnic tables, and a charcoal grill. The pavilion hours are 9:00 a.m. - sunset, and they are available for rent from April - October. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 1-888-432-2267 or online at parkreservations.maryland.gov.

• Amplified sound (speakers, DJ's and bands), alcohol, and moon bounces are not allowed at the pavilions.
• Maryland State Parks are trash free. All visitors must take their trash and recycling home with them when they leave. Please plan accordingly.
• All decorations should be environmentally friendly and must be cleaned up after use, including staples, nails, and tape. Balloons, confetti, and petals are not permitted.
• In addition to the pavilion rental service charge, there is a day-use fee to enter the park. The park’s day-use fee applies to all visitors, including those using the shelters. Price is per vehicle on Monday - Friday, and per person on weekends and holidays. $3.00 for in-state and $5.00 for out-of-state.
