Berryville Road to Montevideo Road Bow Hunting Area

Location
Seneca Creek State Park, located from River Road to the Route 28 Bridge (Darnestown Road). See attached maps for delineation of hunting area. The approximate size of the area is 1,100 acres. This map is for general reference only. The legal hunting area is determined by the posting of the managed hunting and safety zone signs. Hunters are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the hunting area boundary lines, safety zones and established trails throughout the hunting area.
Hunting Type
Bow Hunting for White-tailed Deer only by permit.
Seasons
The bow hunting area would be open for the various deer hunting seasons dates listed in the hunting guide. The only weapons allowed will be bow and crossbow.
Parking
A maximum of six vehicles will be permitted at each of two designated road shoulder parking areas along Berryville Road. A maximum of twelve vehicles would be permitted to park along Old Seneca Road. A twelve vehicles gravel parking lot is located on Montevideo Road. Parking is also permitted at the Route 28 (Darnestown Road) lot.
