Driving Directions:
  • Take I-95 to Route 155, exit 89. Proceed West on Route 155 to Route 161.
  • Turn right on Route 161 and then right on Rock Run Road.
  • Follow Rock Run Road to the park.

Directions to the campground: From Rock Run Road, take a slight left onto Craig's Corner Road.

  • The Deer Creek Picnic Area and Carter-Archer Mansion areas are open from 9 a.m. to Sunset April – October and 10 am to Sunset November – March.
  • Certain activities are permitted outside of the regular park hours (e.g. fishing, boat launch, hunting where permitted). Please check with the park before your visit if you plan to engage in an activity which requires you to be in the park before or after the posted hours.

Hunting Policy:
  • Archery-only hunting for deer permitted in an 880 acre designated hunting area.
  • Free Central Region Public Hunting permit and daily sign-in required.
  • Managed Hunt Permit required.
  • Waterfowl blind sites are available by reservation only

Pet Policy:
  • Pets are allowed in all areas of Susquehanna State Park, including the campground and cabins, but must remain on a leash.
