Swimming Pool
ALERT: Due to staffing shortages, the Shad Landing pool will operate on
weekends only and with capacity limits until further notice. Please be
prepared for closures due to staffing availability or capacity limits.
The concession stand will not be open during this time. Youth groups
reservations and private rentals are also not available at this time.
Please call the park at 410-632-2566 for more information before your
arrival.
The Shad Landing pool is perfect for a cool dip on a hot summer day. The Olympic size pool operates on the following schedule:
- Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Also open Monday of Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends
- Pool hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The pool is staffed by certified life guards.
The fee for pool use is free for campers, active duty military and
veterans. The fee for day users is $6 per person per day. Punch passes
are available for groups and visitors wanting to frequent the pool.
Golden Age Pass holders, children 5 years old and under and Maryland
Park Service Annual Passport holders are admitted free of charge.
