Pocomoke State Forest
The Pocomoke State Forest consists of 15,000 acres. The forest is famous for its stands of loblolly pine trees and Cypress swamps that border the Pocomoke River. Five areas within the forest, including the Cypress Swamps bordering the Pocomoke, are designated Wildlands Areas. In Pocomoke State Forest visitors can enjoy the following activities: fishing, flat water canoeing, hiking trail, hunting, and mountain biking trails.
