Bill Burton Fishing Pier State Park is a proud participant of the Maryland Park Service’s Park Quest program! The 2021 theme is “Spread Your Wings to Explore Maryland’s State Parks,” and here at the pier we have “Bill Burton Bird Bingo”! Park Quest 2021 activities will be available from May 1 - October 31, 2021.

First Day Hikes
We are also happy to host the First Day Hikes every year, during the first weekend of January, on our 1-mile long Choptank River Trail on the Talbot side of the park.

Free Fishing Days
Enjoy license-free fishing 3 times a year! On the first and second Saturday of June, and on July 4, anglers of all ages are allowed to fish without a license. Note: Other fishing regulations​ still apply!
