Paving Project

​​​North East Beach Day-Use:
Paving of the main entrance road to the picnic and beach area will begin around September 6, 2022. The day-use area will be closed to the public during this time. Projected length of the project is 2 weeks pending weather conditions.

Campground Paving:
Paving in the Elk River Campground will begin around September 6, 2022. Vehicular traffic patterns will change as the exit lane and dump station are paved. The dump station will be closed during the paving for approximately 1 week pending weather conditions. Bohemia Camp Loop will close for the season as of September 6, 2022, for a full paving to include the roadway, campsites, and replacement of culverts. The Tred Avon Cabins, Rustic Cabins, and Chester Camp Loop are still open. Reservation holders should expect some minor construction sounds and vehicles Monday-Friday. Paving will begin September 6, 2022. ​
