Monitor Trainings

Volunteer with MET

If you enjoy visiting beautiful, protected lands, then you will certainly enjoy becoming a land steward with Maryland Environmental Trust! Volunteers visit our conservation easements to ensure that protected farms and forests remain undeveloped. Visits are made to significant natural areas, farms and forest land, waterfronts. Historic viewsheds and scenic landscapes. This is a great opportunity for those who want to explore Maryland, get service hours, or add some new experience to their resume.

To join our team and help us to protect Maryland’s scenic open space, farms, and forests for generations to come, please contact the Easement Monitoring Specialist.
