Waldorf in the Woods, located in Bethesda, MD, is an entirely outdoor-based Kindergarten Program. This program takes the children out of a traditional class setting and gets them outside, in a natural environment, all year long. They get to explore all types of nature through various outdoor activities. Their indoor classroom is a homebase in the mornings and afternoons, and during inclement weather, but most of the time the children can be found outside hiking, investigating different species of animals, or digging through the garden.
