Crabby Patties

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter and cheese over low heat.
  • Stir in the lemon juice, Worcestershire, and garlic salt.
  • Remove pan from heat. Fold in the crab meat.
  • Spread the mixture onto the English muffins.
  • Lay muffins on a cookie sheet.
  • Freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  • When ready to cook, broil them on low until they are slightly brown. Serve hot.

Notes: Crabby Patties can be stored in the freezer before cooking for later use.

  • 12 English muffins, sliced in half
  • 16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, cut in cubes
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 lb Maryland crab meat (no claw meat)
