Mark Your Calendar for the 12th Annual Event

September 21, 2019

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources invites all former service members, their families and caregivers to join us on September 21, 2019 at Patriot Point in Dorchester County to celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day. Governor Larry Hogan proclaimed 2019 as the Year of the Veteran in Maryland. This year-long observance raises awareness of the brave service and sacrifice our United States veterans and families have made for Maryland and our country.

In addition to the regular menu of activities, a mentored dove hunt will be offered for new and apprentice hunters. A separate registration is required to participate in the dove hunt, which will begin, after all other activities are finished.

There is no charge or required experience level to participate in the event or the dove hunt. Registration is required to attend the event.

Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Patriot Point (750 Taylors Island Rd, Church Creek, MD 21622)
Cost: Free
Space Limited (First 100 registrants)
