Make Your Own Tree Cookies

Three decorated tree cookies

Tree cookies can be cut from downed trees or during tree maintenance, and used for stepping stones, decoration or just for “loose parts” in your nature play area.

The best trees for cookie sources are Red Oak, White Oak and Tulip Poplar.
