Emily Morrow | Green Jobs Network Coordinator, Office of Outdoor Recreation Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the Greater Baltimore Wilderness Coalition (GBWC)Emily Morrow is the Green Jobs Network Coordinator for DNR's Office of Outdoor Recreation and the Greater Baltimore Wilderness Coalition (GBWC). In this role, she leads the effort to create and enhance green career pathways in Maryland by building connections between job seekers, educational and training providers, and employers. Before working at DNR, Emily spent nine years as an educator - she started her career guiding students through informal environmental and outdoor education experiences all over Maryland, and in Virginia and California. She then spent five years as a middle school science teacher in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Through every position, her primary passion has been uplifting others through education, connection, and exposure to nature. Emily holds an M.S. and B.S. in Environmental Science from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, College Park. When she is not working with DNR or GBWC, you can find her kayaking on the Wye River or exploring the streets of downtown Frederick. |
