Carroll Park Children's Garden

The Carroll Park Children's Garden is a collaborative effort between the Department of Recreation and Parks, the Friends of Carroll Park, and the Southwest Baltimore Charter School geared toward increasing the presence of natural materials and experiences in conjunction with play. The garden provides an arena for children to create their own play experience while utilizing the plants, soil, rocks, logs and branches made available. The design includes a natural stone path, log walk, branch teepee, climbing hill and incorporates plantings that stimulate audio and visual senses as well as smell and touch.
