Welcome to the Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area! Our visitors can enjoy 5,600+ acres of rolling
hills and quiet woodlands by hiking, biking, or riding the 80+ miles of trails. During this Park Quest we invite
you to take control of your quest here at our park. Choose any one of these activites below to complete your quest.
Visit one of our five day use parking lots to start.
Warnings or hazards: Trails can be slippery after heavy rains. Please also remember to bring insect repellent, sunblock, water, and wear comfortable sturdy shoes for hiking. Long-pants and long-sleeve shirts should be worn to protect yourself from ticks and poison ivy.

Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area (Fair Hill NRMA)
Encompassing more than 5,650 acres in Northeastern MD, the Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area (Fair Hill NRMA) offers 80+ miles of multi-use trails and an array of facilities, services, and special events. Visitors enjoy recreational activities like hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, fox chasing, and a number of equestrian events including trail riding, steeplechase racing, dressage, and carriage driving.
Large special events like the Cecil County Fair, Fair Hill Races, Scottish Games, and the Fair Hill Classic mountain bike race draw over 150,000 visitors annually. Facilities include five day-use parking areas for trail access, the fairgrounds, Foxcatcher Arena, race barns, turf race track and grandstands, two youth group camping sites, the covered bridge pavilion, and a land navigation course. Portable toilets are provided in each of the five day-use parking lots and rest room facilities are provided at the fairgrounds area.

Driving Directions:
From the Rt. 273/Rt. 213 intersection, travel East on Rt. 273 for approximately 1.5 miles and make a right onto Gallaher Road, continue for approximately 0.7 miles, the parking lot will be on your right.
