  ​​Are you a serious boater who aims to be a seasoned navigator down the road? Expand your boater education and boating skills by enrolling in our BOATING SKILLS AND SEAMANSHIP COURSE conducted by USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 054-24-08​:
  ​​A comprehensive virtual course designed for both the experienced and the novice boater, a NASBLA-approved course that will award a Boating Safety Education Certificate upon completion of the course and the certifying exam that follows.
  It consists of 8 core required two-hour lessons plus five elective lessons on Navigation/ nautical charts/ chart plotting, powering your boat, lines and knots, weather and radio. Sept 24-Oct 31 Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7-9 pm.​
  Supplemental in-person session on Sat Nov 3, 2024 on Navigation, nautical charts, plotting your course, Lines & Knots, Radio Communication. SMALL CLASS SIZE, LIMITED SPACE, REGISTER EARLY.

• MD Safe Boating Class.​ This course satisfies the requirements for operating a vessel on Maryland waters and a Certificate of Boating Safety Education is issued upon satisfactory completion. Instructors teach two sessions. Attendance at both online sessions is required.
