Maryland Department of Natural Resources understands the importance of training the next generation of environmental stewards and support personnel. MDNR offers internships within its units to high school and college students. Interns obtain experience in the day-to-day operations of a natural resource agency and use knowledge received in the classroom. The internship are completed for academic credit, and in some cases, for a stipend.
