Dr. Natalia Buta Lowe | Chair and Professor, Department of Recreation and Parks ManagementSustainable Recreation Dr. Natalia Buta Lowe joined the Frostburg State University Recreation and Parks Management program in 2010 and has been instrumental in advancing the undergraduate and graduate programs, holding various leadership positions. She has conducted research in various settings, including Western Maryland, Retezat National Park in Romania, and El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico. Her work is primarily directed at better understanding the role of outdoor recreation and natural and cultural resources in shaping community economic and ecological well-being. |
