Kayla Casey is a dedicated student at Frostburg State University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Parks Management with a minor in Geography. Her passion for the outdoors and wildlife has been evident from a young age, driving her to seek opportunities that deepen her understanding of the natural world.
For the past two years, Kayla has gained valuable experience working seasonally with the park service at Gunpowder Falls State Park in Baltimore County. This hands-on experience has not only enhanced her skills but has also fueled her ambition to become a park ranger. She is particularly passionate about educating others on the importance of wildlife conservation and the benefits of connecting with nature. Kayla aims to focus on environmental and historical interpretation, as well as outdoor education, to inspire others to appreciate and protect our natural resources. |
