Dave Ferraro | Executive Director, Friends of Patapsco Valley State ParkDave Ferraro is the Executive Director of the Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park. Prior to his tenure at Friends, Dave worked for 20 years in museums in cultural institutions including the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, The Smithsonian Institution Office of Architectural History and Historic Preservation, the National Aquarium, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Rachel Carson Homestead. Dave serves on several boards including the Maryland Tourism Development Board, the Maryland Parks and Recreation Commission, the Recreational Trail Program Advisory Committee, and the Baltimore County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. Dave lives in Patapsco Valley State Park as the DNR Curator Resident of the Reserve Property, an early 19th-century stone mill workers' house. And, as if one 200-year-old house isn’t enough, he and his wife have a second home in Granite Hill on Oella Avenue. |
