Dough Arbogast, PhD | Extension Professor and Rural Tourism Specialist, West Virginia University

Doug Arbogast, PhD is an Extension Professor and Rural Tourism Specialist at West Virginia University in the Family and Community Development unit of the Extension Service. He is responsible for developing and delivering rural tourism development services. He works collaboratively with WVU faculty and students to promote sustainable development of recreation and tourism in West Virginia. His duties entail development of proactive applied research, teaching, and service programs in rural tourism development including sustainable rural tourism development, destination management, and recreation economies. He was a founding partner of the Mon Forest Towns Partnership in 2017.
