Wildlife Encounters: Now What? SCI-7030

Ever wonder what to do with the injured bird you've seen in your
neighborhood or the baby squirrel that has fallen from its nest after a
storm? You will learn regulations regarding wildlife in Maryland and what to
do to help before a veterinarian or wildlife rehabilitator can be reached.
This seminar will also include first aid basics for more common species
encountered and how to recognize situations where no human intervention is
needed. Common wildlife myths will be dispelled. In addition, learn how you
can become a wildlife rehabilitator. Overview of activities, requirements,
resources, time costs and other factors for persons interested in obtaining
license for wildlife rehabilitation will be included.
