Nuisance Wildlife Control Cooperator Permit/License
Individuals or companies are licensed by the Department of Natural Resources to handle nuisance wildlife complaints throughout the State.
Any properly accredited person in Maryland who desires to assist the Department of Natural Resources in the control of nuisance wildlife injurious to agriculture or other interests in an affected area, shall first obtain a Nuisance Wildlife Control Cooperator Permit/License from the Department of Natural Resources.
Among the requirements for this permit are proof of adequate training in the capture and handling of wildlife. Part of the permit process will be the designation of the species of wildlife that will be authorized to be handled, as well as the disposition of wildlife.
A Nuisance Wildlife Control Cooperator Permit/License may be issued if the Wildlife and Heritage Service determines that it will be in the interest of the Department's wildlife conservation program.
If you are interested in receiving calls from the public we will list your information on our web-site for nuisance wildlife control cooperators. Complete the form and return it with your application to the permits coordinator.
