2009-2010 Bowhunter Survey

Dear Bowhunter,

We need your help! Bowhunters are among the most active and knowledgeable outdoor enthusiasts in Maryland. The time you spend afield, and the experiences you enjoy are of great value to us. The hunting observations you make day after day, and year after year, can be used as a powerful tool to effectively monitor some wildlife populations. Therefore, we are asking you to take the time to document critical information about your hunts.

The online survey form is designed to capture data from your hunting experiences in a systematic fashion, thus aiding us in the assessment of wildlife population trends on a yearly basis. This type of information is integral in the development of management strategies for various species.

Please complete the survey in accordance with the instructions. If additional forms are needed, feel free to photocopy or download additional survey forms from this page.

A report summarizing the results of this survey will be produced and forwarded to all individuals responding to this request. View Maryland’s Bowhunter Survey Final Report: 2008-2009

Thank you for your valuable efforts on behalf of Maryland’s wildlife resources!

Sincerely,

Harry Spiker
Game Mammal Section Leader
