Black Bear Education Trunk

Bring the outside into your classroom. Learn all about Maryland's Black Bears with this unique hands-on, interdisciplinary teaching tool - designed to educate students about Maryland's Black Bears while building on fundamental disciplines like math, art, social studies, science, language arts and physical education.

Black Bear Teacher Trunks are available to educators in Maryland for a one to two week period, depending on availability. Each teacher trunk contains a black bear hide, track, skull and scat replica, along with a slide show, video, brochure and curriculum guide.
