Project WILD is a K-12 curriculum supplement that encourages students to learn about wildlife through interdisciplinary topics. This workshop is designed for any educator who works with K-12 students.

Throughout the day, participants will go through various Project WILD activities and will learn how to incorporate them into their lessons. At the end of the session, participants will receive both Project WILD guides filled with over 100 lessons. Project WILD has been aligned to MD Environmental Literacy Standards.

Fee: $20, refundable upon completion.

Audience: Educators of all sorts!

Growing Up WILD and Project WILD Combo Workshop

Both Growing Up WILD and Project WILD are curriculum supplements that encourage students to learn about wildlife through interdisciplinary topics. Growing Up WILD focuses on developmentally appropriate practices to teach children aged 3-7 about the natural world, while Project WILD is designed for K-12 students. Throughout the day, participants will go through various Growing Up WILD and Project WILD activities and will learn how to incorporate them into their lessons. At the end of the second session, participants will receive the Growing Up WILD guide and both Project WILD guides filled with over 100 lessons. Growing Up WILD and Project WILD have been aligned to MD Environmental Literacy Standards.

Fee: $5, for materials and refreshments

Audience: Educators of all sorts!
