Governments and public schools only are exempt from federal excise tax when purchasing archery equipment. You must complete the Exemption Certificate and include it with your order to claim this exemption. Note: This is NOT THE SAME as your sales tax exemption. Federal Excise Tax on archery equipment is charged to the manufacturer of the arrows, but a rebate is available when the arrows are ultimately sold to a public school or government agency. Your price reflects this rebate, so we are required to obtain the Exemption Form.
Most schools have equipment storage closets for PE classes. To assure that the archery equipment is secure, protected and convenient to access a lockable equipment box can be built.
