TOOLS (Targeted Outreach and On-Line Support) is an information service providing assistance
to local level decision makers. Targeted users within local communities include city resource
managers, planners, and elected officials; watershed organizations; land trusts; and non-governmental
organizations.
TOOLS aims to increase active management of natural resources by building capacity
at the local level. TOOLS works to foster an understanding of the benefits of natural resource
management, as well as, methods for seamless application to, and assistance with, mandated activities.
