Restoration and ProtectionPlanningStream Protection and Restoration Through Watershed PlanningThe Department provides services for stream and watershed restoration that link field assessment methods for the restoration of local wetlands and stream corridors to the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay. The programs work with local governments, soil conservation districts, private landowners and local watershed associations to integrate the restoration of water quantity/quality and fish and wildlife habitat into the implementation of plans and projects. The following services and program links support this effort. |
