Volunteer Ranger
Assist the ranger staff with operations, special events, maintenance and interpretive programs. Uniforms provided.
Camp Host
In exchange for a free campsite during their stay, Camp Hosts will assist with many duties associated with the campground.
Maintenance Crew
The volunteers will assist staff and other "Tuesday Crew" volunteers with a variety of maintenance projects.
Aviary Assistants
Assist in the care and maintenance of the animals at the Aviary.
Volunteer Naturalist
Assist the naturalist staff with the preparation and presentation of interpretive programs for children and adults. These volunteers will also assist at the Nature Center.
Volunteer Historian
Research the history of the public lands in Allegany County.
Food Service
Assist other volunteers at the park's "Snack Shack."
Special Events Staff
Assist the staff and other volunteers at yearly events such as: Easter Egg hunts, holiday activities, car shows, fishing derbies, triathlons and camper cook-offs.
