Camp only in designated areas. Build small fires inside of fire rings. Secure foodstuffs and valuables in tamper proof containers. Set up tents away from camp fires. Plan ahead, prepare and tell someone where you're going. Wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes. Stay on the trail. If you get lost - don't leave the trail. Carry a first aid kit and bottled water. Keep a clean camp - secure food properly. Do not feed wildlife. Report aggressive wildlife to a ranger. If bitten or scratched by a wild animal, seek medical attention. Wear a helmet which fits properly. Protect the environment - avoid riding wet trails. Control your speed and yield to all other trail users.
