Location Gunpowder Falls State Park, Sweet Air Area, Harford County, 410-592-2897
Access Parking is at the end of Dalton-Bevard Road within the park. To reach this road, take Mountain Road (152 north) to Route 165. Turn left heading south on 165 (Baldwin Mill Road). Turn right onto Greene Road, right onto Moores Road, and left onto Dalton Bevard Road. Numerous trails leave from this parking area, making return loops.

Trail Well-defined and marked trails are moderately hilly. Some areas are rocky. Some single-track and some double-track trails.

Hazards/Restrictions No motorized vehicles. Trail can be muddy, especially in spring. The Little Gunpowder Falls is too deep to cross on a bike. This area is also popular with equestrians. Yield the right of way.

Description A network of trails provides an interesting ride through varied terrain, offering many trails options and levels of difficulty. Trails cross farm fields, pine plantations, woodlands and riverbank slopes, visiting old farm pond sites. Trails are steeper as they approach the Little Gunpowder Falls. The rolling countryside is typical of Harford County. Many deer can be seen.
