Gunpowder Falls State Park: Dundee Creek Marina

DundeeCreekMarina.jpgLocated on Dundee Creek near the mouth of the Gunpowder River, the marina offers a number of amenities to the slip holders and the boating public, including gas sales, sewage pump out, boat accessories, bait, fishing tackle, ice, packaged foods, gifts and boat rentals.

Boat Launch

The launch fee is $10 for Maryland residents ($12 for non-Maryland residents) at the Dundee Creek Marina. Launch fees are waived for those who possess a Golden Age Pass or Maryland Park Service Annual Passport. Various other service charges may apply for services provided.

The Dundee Creek Marina is open from April 1 - November 30 and closed from December 1 - March 31.

Slip Leasing

Slips at Dundee Creek are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please call 410-592-2897 for more information. A Slip Lease Includes:

  • Slip; stationary inside maximum boat length 27'
  • Eight-month contract (April 1-November 30)
  • Municipal water hook-up at slip
  • Electric hook-up at slip (private lighted pedestal)
  • Sewage pump-out at pier
  • 24-hour access for all slip holders
  • Automatic gate
  • Designated slip holder parking

Marina Store

The Dundee Creek Marina Store sells gasoline, fishing and boating accessories, as well drinks and snacks. The marina store hours are:
May: weekends only 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day: 5 a.m. to 7 p.m, closed Wednesdays
September: weekends only 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Boat Rentals

The Marina Store rents motor boats and row boats. Boats may be rented on an hourly basis during the marina store's normal operating hours. Rental fee is $15 an hour or $60 for all day. Rental boats need to be returned an hour before close. Please contact the marina at 410-335-9390 for more information.

Watersports: Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Wind Surfers, and Sailboats are available for rental on-site through Eastern Watersports, your go-to source for everything in, on, and around the water! Dundee Creek Fishing Area/Archery Range

Fishing Area

The fishing area is located at the end of Graces Quarters Road. Anglers 16 years-of-age and older must possess a Maryland Bay Sport Fishing License. For more information, visit the Maryland DNR Fisheries website.

The fishing area is open year-round from 6 a.m. to sunset, but it is closed to vehicular traffic from December 1 through March 31.

Dundee Creek Archery Range

An archery course is available at the end of Graces Quarters Road. Visitors should use caution in this area and stay on designated trails. For more information, please contact park headquarters at 410-592-2897.
