Public Lands - Accessible Public Lands

The Maryland Park Service invites you to visit one of Maryland's 66 state parks. Maryland's public lands offer guests of all ages recreational outings, military re-enactments and interpretive programs, seasonal and educational activities that highlight the regional diversity of Maryland's public lands.

The Maryland Park Service strives to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. In order to promote and encourage recycling, reduction of waste and reuse of our resources, all trash barrels, receptacles and dumpsters have been removed from picnic and beach areas. Visitors to day-use areas are provided with bags when they enter parks and are asked to take home their own refuse. Please pack your picnic in reusable containers and help us keep our parks clean.

The listings below show the accessible facilities for each public land.

A Universal Disability Pass provides free lifetime entry to State Parks for individuals with disabilities and one other person who accompanies the passholder. Click here to download the application.
