I. Purpose
To establish a consistent, coordinated procedure for internal review of proposed projects and actions that affect the responsibilities of various units of the Department of Natural Resources in protecting, enhancing and providing for balanced use of the Natural Resources of the State.

II. Scope (DEPARTMENT WIDE UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED)

III. Policy
It is the policy of the Department that the environmental review procedure attached here to be utilized by all department units and staff in carrying out their respective responsibilities.

IV. Procedure
An environmental review procedure has been developed establishing an environmental review coordination group, identifying units which have lead responsibility, and describing procedures whereby proposed projects and actions are reviewed by all affected department units.
